At the baseball-themed Bruins of the Year event on April 21, reading facilitator Lisa Tennell was honored as the Wilson Elementary School Teacher of the Year.
First grade teacher Amber O'Dell was recognized as the Rising Star Teacher at Wilson.
Candace Biggerstaff was recognized as Wilson's Classified Person of the Year, and went on to be named the District's Classified Person of the Year.
