At the baseball-themed Bruins of the Year event on April 23, 2026, First Grade teacher Kealy Chapman was honored as Wilson's Teacher of the Year. She was introduced by student Makenzie Speirs.
Chapman was also named the "Fan Favorite" at the event, so the Wilson staff will be treated to breakfast by Bartlesville Chick-fil-A.
Fifth Grade teacher Kourtney Ray was honored as Wilson's Rising Star Teacher, an award for teachers with one to four years of experience.
Teacher Assistant Dora Keyser was not only honored as Wilson's Classified Person of the Year, but went on to be named the entire district's Classified Person of the Year.
Wilson Kindergarten teacher Angie Brown received the Kurt Schmoldt Teacher Appreciation Award.
